Temperatures soared to 26 degrees Celcius today.  After nap time Molly and I sought out the the shade of the trees and went for a stroll round the large ponds nearby. Everyone else in the neighbourhood had the same idea so the lakeside was bustling with people soaking up the sunshine. Molly had an ice lolly in her buggy but didn’t like the ducks getting too near. We stopped for a while to sit on a muslin cloth in the grassy shade of a tree and Moll enjoyed picking up pebbles, playing with the dirt and nibbling rice cakes from her snack pot.
